A month of 2009 has gone by already, and perhaps you feel very far away from fulfilling your goals. I know I sometimes look at the way I'm living my life, then look at my goals, and think "that's crazy!".
But don't give up! If your goals are big, break them up into specific tasks you can do to accomplish those Ultimate Goals. These ways should be specific, measurable, attainable, and have a sort of timeframe so you're more likely to keep to it. For example, I had to break up my goal of "invest in the people I'm leading" to specific things like "pray X minutes a day for ______ and write to ______ X times a week", and I find that makes working toward the goal a lot easier :)
Also, since many of you have "read the Bible every day" or "follow the Bible reading plan" as a goal, perhaps all of you could arrange to meet somewhere every morning to read that day's chapters together!
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13
