Humility - keep track of my feelings in my journal every time something happens)
Family 1. Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that I may honour my parents and be a testimony (Phil 2:14-15) 2. Pray for one family member a day
Ministry 1. Pray for one cell member every day 2. Write to one cell member/Levite every week 3. Visit the Levites at GB at least once every 2 weeks
A month of 2009 has gone by already, and perhaps you feel very far away from fulfilling your goals. I know I sometimes look at the way I'm living my life, then look at my goals, and think "that's crazy!".
But don't give up! If your goals are big, break them up into specific tasks you can do to accomplish those Ultimate Goals. These ways should be specific, measurable, attainable, and have a sort of timeframe so you're more likely to keep to it. For example, I had to break up my goal of "invest in the people I'm leading" to specific things like "pray X minutes a day for ______ and write to ______ X times a week", and I find that makes working toward the goal a lot easier :)
Also, since many of you have "read the Bible every day" or "follow the Bible reading plan" as a goal, perhaps all of you could arrange to meet somewhere every morning to read that day's chapters together!
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

hey hannah! ive got a question. wanted to email you initially but decided to just type it here :D
i was just wondering why God wants us to ask Him to bless Israel cos since He loves Israel, He can just bless Israel Himself. why does he want us to do it ?
Here are the questions we're all supposed to think about and answer by the next time we meet, 10 Jan 09.
1. What are some things you want to thank God for in 2008?
2. How have you grown in your spiritual walk from the start of 2008 to the end of 2008? How has God been transforming you in that year? Have you learnt anything?
Sorry point 2 has so many questions, but they're all pretty related so it's possible to answer them in one sharing!
Do take time out over the week to reflect on these questions. Look back on your blog or journal if it helps :)

Also, we're planning to have a cell sleepover on the 16th-17th Jan, Fri-Saturday! Could you guys check if you're available on those dates, and if your parents are agreeable? It'll probably be at my house again, and we'll go straight to church.
(Gloria - you'll just have come back after OBS so perhaps you shouldn't stay over, but see if you can make it on the afternoon of the 17th?)
Lastly, would you guys be free from about 1.15pm to 3pm next Wednesday (14th Jan) to go out for cell lunch? It'll be somewhere near school and we'll invite the Sec1s.
Please SMS/email me your responses ASAP when you see this ok :)
